Hey there, I’m Rob Leshin. I’m a Filmmaker / Editor based in New York City.
Rob has worked on projects for some of today’s leading filmmakers - including Jason Hehir (The Last Dance), Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer (The Square, The Great Hack), and Alex Gibney (Going Clear, Dirty Money) - for networks including HBO, Netflix, ESPN, A&E Networks, Oxygen, Food Network, Vice, and more. His freelance work includes clients like Penguin Random House and StudioNow. Simultaneously with his work in the post-production world as an Editor / Assistant Editor on these larger scale productions, he has continued to produce original content in a multi-faceted role as Director / Writer / Shooter / Editor.
Rob is the co-creator of Silk City, a rock'n'roll comedy series about his small Connecticut hometown, and Are You Afraid To Adult? a millennial horror comedy update of the ‘90s Nickelodeon anthology series. His work has ranged from episodic television to short films, music videos, parodies, sizzle reels, and promos. Specialties include documentary, comedy, horror, cooking, travel, and paranormal.
